Related Problem

In packs with free RF <-> EU transformation the Active Transformer will see almost no use as RF transformation can achieve the same effect.

Your Solution

Add RF input and output hatches to the Active Transformer. These hatches should have no inherent RF/t limit, in other words, they can I/O as much energy as the AT can receive or transmit.
This will allow the AT to supply power to a Power Substation, as different voltage tiers, or as laser power, easily from RF without having to transform multiple times. It would also allow easier transformation from multiple GT energy sources to RF. As the AT is a device which can transform between any voltage, this would be well within its capabilities balance wise.

This should only be enabled when Energy Converters are turned on in config, or at least have a separate toggle in config
