Some gear types don't generate if another mod adds them

Expected Behavior
Expected Gregtech to create it's own gear variants for common metals like copper and gold despite another mod also adding those gears into the game.
Actual Behavior
If there is another mod with it's own gear variants for some metal then Gregtech doesn't add it's gears for that specific metal.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create new modpack instance
- Add Gregtech, another mod like Thermal Foundation or Forestry, JEI (for viewing the material tree) and all the required dependencies
- Look at the material tree for copper or another metal that has a gear variant added by the other mod
Additional Information
I already tried fixing this issue by adding the other mod below gregtech in S:modPriorities, installing unidict and putting gregtech as high priority in the config and by removing the other mod's gears from their respective oredicts
