Wiring optical fiber cables is kind of a pain in the ass right now, especially if you mess up the wiring slightly in the wrong direction since you have to break the wire, remove the direction of the new end, then rewire it into the correct end.
Your Solution
When you use a wire cutter on an optical fiber cable, it should automatically disconnect the old connection and connect to the new direction as directed by the use of the wire cutters.
