The auto pull/push of passthrough hatches should be able to be disabled like mulitblock busses and hatches.

Related Problem
if you attach a cover to the output of a passthrough hatch, it's automatic pull and/or push overrides the cover. It's fine on busses because you can either disable the automatic pull/push or rotate the face away. But on passthrough hatches, you can't disabled auto pull/push and covers are only allowed on the two marked faces.
Your Solution
Either allow passthrough hatches to have their automatic pull/push be toggled like busses and hatches or allow covers to be placed on the 4 blank sides.
