After installing GregTechCEu-2.8.10beta and WarpDrive-1.5.28 together, I opened the world and crashed after viewing tips for certain items

This is caused by WarpDrive attempting to add the durability of GT tools to the tooltip using a method that does not exist anymore (we completely rewrote tools in GT 2.5.0). Not much we can do about this on our side.
You can work around this by disabling adding durability to tooltips in WarpDrive's config.
This has already been reported to WarpDrive (LemADEC/WarpDrive#549), but given that it hasn't been updated in 2 years, I doubt they will fix it.
