I suggest to add block named "crate" with volume of 1-2 slots. When u place 2 or more crates together it should form "multistructure" with sum of all volumes. This will work as "AE for beginners", will help if u need chest with alot of sides, and so on so on so on.

Sounds a lot more like EZStorage, which is much better imo.
