[1.7.02.00-fresh] Liquid Air Cells in Large Centrifuge Not Working

BritishCynic opened this issue ยท 12 comments

Expected Behavior

Liquid Air Cells should be converted to their constituent gas cells.

Current Behavior

The recipe works in standard Centrifuges, but not in the Large Centrifuge

Possible Solution

Fix recipe.

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

Construct Large Centrifuge. Insert stack of Liquid Air Cells in Input Bus. Machine will not process.

Context

Was working previously, appears to be a regression. Liquid Air can actually be fed into the Input Hatch now, and while the recipe "processes", no outputs are generated. These two might be related.

Game Environment

Custom Mod Collection

Also include:

  • Gregtech version: 5.09.32pre4
  • IC2 version: 2.2.828-experimental
  • Java version: Java 8 b172
  • Operating System: Windows 10 x64 Pro

Misc Info

Check all that apply ([ ] -> [x] - use a lowercase x)

Is this the latest version of GT++? This should've been fixed in the latest commit I think..

This is the latest release provided by Alk. After some chatting on Discord, the Liquid recipe problem is caused by too few Output Hatches. The Liquid Air Cell recipe doesn't appear to exist for the Large Centrifuge, as the AE2 Export Bus does not deposit the goods into the bus (which is an indicator that the item has no associated recipe with that machine.

Putting in a stack of cells does not trigger the multiblock, nor does hitting it with a Soft Mallet. The recipe does work on standard Centrifuge machines, though.

commented

Ye, there is no NEI entry for Liquid Air Cells in the Large Centrifuge either. And no non-cell form of Liquid Air.

commented

Not all recipes exist, There's two requirements.

  1. Both input and output has fluid forms of all cells (Not all cells and fluids have an alternative)
  2. Certain invalid items are blacklisted, so all input and output must be 'valid' (valid stack sizes, non-null, etc)

If what Wolozo7 said is correct, I'd need to add a non fluid version of liquid air just to fix this recipe. (I'm aware of what recipes don't work on the large multis and wasn't really planning to make fixes for < 10 things.

But in this case I might.

@draknyte1 I can't seem to get rubber wood to centrifuge. I tried putting as many output hatches and buses as I could (3 of both; 3 seems to be the max?) since that appeared to fix the other recipes that wouldn't centrifuge in the gt++ multi (hydrated coal for example), but it doesn't seem to help with this particular recipe.

commented

It appears most other recipes work just fine, it's just rubber wood? I've tried a ton of planetary stone dusts, impure dusts, centrifuge-able normal dusts, combs. They all work, but rubber wood doesn't :\ pls fix

commented

Those several recipes which don't work, I really don't want to add special handling for.. since they'll vary for every pack..

Without IHL, rubber tree sap has no fluid, only a cell. Ask Dream to fix this in GTNH for your case.

@Dream-Master Hey dream, could you add a specific recipe for the Large Centrifuge in the next release?

Input: Rubber wood log
Output: plantball (37.5%), carbon dust (25%), wood pulp (25%), sticky resin (50%), and 60L methane

commented

@Prewf did the small centrifuge recipe not working in the large centrifuge ?

commented

@Dream-Master yea it doesn't work at the moment (currently using the latest gt++ version, 1.7.2-fresh. The recipe shows up in NEI, but the rubber wood doesn't get processed

commented

@Dream-Master do you want me to make an issue on new horizons github?

commented

@Prewf yea you can do it as a reminder.
