There should be a simpler way to configure the overflow valves especially for larger values. I just spent a solid minute and a half shift clicking just to try and get to 1000 buckets, mercing my screwdriver and patience.. Additionally, as soon as you configure the cover after putting it on, it voids your stuff, so if you're trying to make a buffer not back up, kiss your buffer goodbye.

I would have the overflow valve start out configured to keep its maximum value rather than it's minimum, and I would add a method to perform larger leaps in the overflow amount. Clicking literally 1000 times to max out an HV valve is pretty ridiculous.
