Large Maceration Tower can't receive dropped items as input properly

Expected Behavior

All 9 crushing wheels should be able to receive dropped items as input.

Actual Behavior

When items are dropped onto any of the 9 crushing wheels, only some of the crushing wheels are able to receive dropped items as input.
If the Large Maceration Tower is built across chunks, more crushing wheels won't be able to receive dropped items as input.

Steps to Reproduce

Build a Large Maceration Tower and drop one item onto each of the 9 crushing wheels.
