There is an issue with the mod. the book shows up but when i try to take it out it glitches back in. i don't know what is wrong here, its on my server

That sounds like you don't have enough levels to disenchant. You can install the mod on the client to see the number of levels required. On recent versions, you don't even need to sync the configuration file manually for that.

This will also prevent you from taking the resulting item in the first place, so there'll be no more glitching.

There was also an option to show the level cost in the tooltip for situations like this where the mod is only installed on the server, but it was unfortunately broken by a Minecraft update at some point.
