As the title,I followed the method you given to create step by step,but it wasn't shown in game,I'd checked it out for many times but it was unusing either.I used command /give but I only got the "missing book".I'm sure the address was correct.
Didn't 1.19.2 version support resource packs?

Hi the instructions may be outdated, but yes books in resource packs should work! If it doesn't work it's bug that I will have to fix.

Does your resource pack have a books.json file? and is the book xml with the right name and folder?
