I use a mod called Sleep Tight https://modrinth.com/mod/sleep-tight and it makes it so you can right click to lay in bed no matter if it's night or not, this functionality makes it impossible to apply different colored sheets to a bed as instead of right clicking to apply the sheet color, you just lay in the bed instantly.

Solution(s)

Instead of right clicking the bed, you could make it so you need to use a combination of keys such as shift right click or control right click.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Could make this apply sheet color a keybind so it can be customized to fit ones needs.
