Sorry to be the first to dirty up the issues. I don't know if it was your intention but nightvision effect has no effect on the darkness.

Yeah, the problem is that night vision is just a factor that is multiplied with the light levels, so since this mod makes the darkness 0 the night vision potion only affects light sources. Should be fixable though.
