It's not exactly something that happens often, but if, when updating or removing a mod, you happen to also remove an item registered by that mod which is used as a quest reward, it causes a crash whenever you load a save.

Pretty rare occurrence, more common when tweaking mod packs. Will submit a pull request to fix it.
