As of version 1.20.1 of hardcore torches, lit torches do not have the ability to be extinguished by weathers from this mod:

I would like to see compatibility for this mod. Would be sick!

I am trying on the backport, but unfortunately I can't figure out how to determine if a block is being rained on in this mod. I asked on his github but until then I'm lost.

I'll try once it updates to 1.20.4
