Chicken Festival won't end.

In the newest version of the Harvest Festival, installed on Forge 1.10.2-12.18.3.2511 (As of April 22, the latest version on the Forge website), running on Java 1.8.0_151, running on a Windows 10 computer, the Chicken Festival fails to end at the specified date.
As part of a desire for accuracy, I set the number of days per season to be 91 (= 364/4
). It is now Summer, Day 25 (according to the calendar GUI, it is now Tomas's birthday, on "day" 9). However, when talking to Ashlee, the chicken farm proprietor, she greets me with "Hello, and welcome to the Chicken Festival".
I have not submitted a chicken to the festival, due to another bug causing no easily recognizable "stalls for the chickens" to appear in the park. There was, however, a table serving "New Year's Noodles". The chicken festival was the first festival I took part in.
Because during the chicken festival, no stores are open, and the chicken festival does not register as having ended, except by the calendar, I am no longer able to purchase items from stores, rendering the game unplayable.
There is no fml-client-latest.log or fml-server-latest.log file attached, as the search function packaged in Windows Explorer turned up no file with a filename including the substring "fml" in the %appdata% directory.
I've had this issue with every festival so far, usually the command /hf newDay and then sleeping through a couple of days fixes it. The devs mentioned that only the cow festival is ready to play, but for me festivals will still occur even if I decline to participate or respond negatively to the letter invite.
Had the same issue except with the Starry Night. I looked into the source code and the flag that allows you to end the event simply does not exist because the park erroneously built the New Year's event instead. With the chicken event you can still complete it by placing the chicken in the park and hoping it lands in the right area, then talking to the event lady.
I'm also playing on multiplayer with the season length set to 240 days. The notice to join the event appeared the calendar day before the event started and I wasn't able to participate until the calendar day of the event. It's now past the calendar day and I still cannot use shops since the event is still 'running' and there is no clear way to ending it. It's also worth mentioning there were a few glitched dialogues that ended with "could not find dialogue for event or event.adult" as well.
