I'd like to be able to, for an appropriate cost, ask the carpenter to repair the buildings in the town (replace any missing blocks that may have been either looted, or accidentally destroyed one way or another)

Ditto - had a creep spawn in the Town Hall library while it was being built and boom ! Would be really nice to be able to fix that.
