Love the mod! I have been using it since 1.7.10 but now i relaunched a project with my friends on forge 1.12.2 it was running on 14.23.5.2838 and the mod as working but now i updated to 14.23.5.2855 and the mod says its working but no mobs get any hat and when i try to give me a hat using the commands it says unknown hat.

Which version is this? Mind, I no longer support 1.12.2, so it's limited how much I'll be able to help

Im using the latest version for 1.12.2 so it would be 7.1.1

Have you tried running an instance with just the Hats mod and its requirements? It's possible there's a mod conflict somewhere. Check if the hats have been extracted to /mods/hats/ and the java console will tell you if Hats encountered any errors when loading

okay made a pack with only hats and ichunutil and seems to wrok so iguess you are right. I have a mod conflict but its weird that it only broke when i upgraded my forge version
