I made a centrifuging system with 16 centrifuges (yes 16...) and they were all hooked up with conveyor belts and tier 3 speed upgrades.
I ran this system and even though it's stopped now the input delay is truly massive for everything near my base. The fps is good and stable but I can't pick anything up or enter crates or do anything really. Any help on what this issue could be and/or how to fix it would be great.

While not a proper fix, sometimes turning off the sound can help with this. Due to the way sound is handled, having many centrifuges running at the same time can cause issues

The sound engine issue would usually affect FPS and has been largely fixed with centrifuges.

Could you try running a profiler? Minecraft has one (/debug start and /debug stop) although it's not very good. Spark is a pretty good one since it breaks down CPU time in-depth. If that doesn't work, please send me a screenshot of your setup, perhaps I can replicate the issue.

I found the issue, turns out at the end of the conveyor belt system the items weren't going into my crates due to a dodgy setup, error on my end.

That's odd, the spark profiler doesn't state anything regarding dropped or conveyor items, however the CPU load caused by fluid tanks sending update packets seems to be rather big which is weird.
