Gregtech 6 Ores and Automatic/Laser Mining Drill

Hello! Love your mod, and have been using it alongside Gregtech 6 for 1.7.10. (Using HBM-NTM-[1.0.27_X4312])

However, Greg has made his ores non-ticking tile entities with this edition I'm told, so when the mining drill mines them, something goes awry, and they appear in the inventory of the mining drill as "unknown ore".

Is this something that can be fixed? Possibly having an option to have the mining drill break the block and collect the drops, rather than just moving it to the inventory? (I don't know what's under the hood, so please forgive me if that's a stupid suggestion.)

The drills use a very basic way of generating the block's drops which didn't really take anything like tile entity based drops into account. I believe AoE pickaxes work, which means I just have to apply its block break code to the drills.

I actually have insight on this.

It appears that the way Gregtechs ores work is by relying on a metadata value and then referencing that metadata value from a registry in the config. Take this with a grain of salt because its been a while since I last looked into this stuff out of my own curiosity

so when the block its harvested, its not maintain its metadata or whatever data it uses when it breaks it, and either because it resets it to item:0 or a missing NBT data; its registering the ore as unknown as a result. Thats my take at what might be going on.

and yes, AoE pick breaking works afai can recall @HbmMods, so implementing whatever method you used (assuming that its a fake-player block break action) this should fix it
