When I try to turn Heat block into Warm core (or whatever the stuff is called) in a chunk that is chunkloaded by FTB Utils then something weird is going on. For example nothing happens or block turns invisible.

This is a known issue. The ftbutils disables explosions and the heat cores requires an explosion.
