@walksanatora how important is this, and how much effort would it be? can you elaborate a bit on why we need to make this change?

well serhooks is no-longer being maintained (meaning we wold have to maintain)
and the features of serhooks has been moved into base fabric API. meaning that if we choose to maintain it we would have to work around/with the fabric API implementation. at which point we might as well just use the fabric API version anyways

so not important untill serhooks breaks
