you go into the mods config menu and there should be an option that disables to book you get off spawn. Like ars nouveau and alex's mobs

I do like this idea, though I think it's unlikely that it'll be backported to 1.19.

As a workaround, you can add this datapack to stop the book from spawning (created by gattsuru): NoHexModBookOnStart.zip
