Whenever I use the hookshot my game disconnects the moment it hits a wall. Friend who runs the LAN game never crashes or anything, only me having problems although we have the same mods installed.

It's not a Hookshot problem. I never found the mod responsible, but someone else who had this same problem figured it out by removing mods until they found the one causing the problem.
