I created a Curios slot for a vanilla compass to see if HUD Compass could still detect the item while in that slot, and it cannot. I think Curios support would be a great feature for this mod, if possible!

I just created a PR #25 that implements curio compatibility.
Hopefully the author is still active and sees this (and accepts it ofc)
