GrowthCraft Support?
Opened this issue · 10 comments
@Adaptivity any modded foods that Hunger Overhaul (actually, AppleCore) doesn't already support will need to be fixed on that other mod's end. See this Forestry issue and the PR that fixed it for all the information about why/how.
EDIT: Unless you meant that HO should manually assign new values to those foods, in which case that should be specified ('support' is too general a term in this instance).
Can this be closed? Are we planning to add special support for GrowthCraft or does modFoodValueDivider + json configs (which we still need to test/document/publicize) cover it?
Support for additional mods will be done after the initial release, we will add growth craft to the list of mods to look into

Will you be supporting growthcraft food in the 1.7.10 hunger overhaul?

this was a request for a possible enhancement.
support for mods verse the automatic modifications are very very different, as some foods do not properly get automatically detected if they are at all.
Is there a list somewhere that people can request/suggest after the initial release to have compatibility setup?
This is what I want to add to the list:
I remember in 1.6.4, using Hunger Overhaul and Smart Moving together made the hunger never go down, no matter what settings were set in either mod. I just wanted to food effects, crop effects and the slow, nausea and such effects when you where hungry, but also really wanted to be able to climb up 2 high blocks, and crawl through tight spaces. I had just wanted it to somehow disable the hunger system either in smart moving automatically to be replace by hunger overhauls better one, or if not possible, to then just disable hunger overhaul's hunger speeds and use smart moving's, but still have the low hunger effects, right clicking crops, and food values changed. Im not sure if it would be at all different or hard to make a person slower while using smart moving. if its just a potion effect, then it will probably not need any extra attention for that part. But I thought i would also mention that.
Anyways, where can I put that ^ bit of info? I didn't think it was worth making a new topic, but I also felt It was needed to post a request somewhere for the future.
@Razorskills, it definitely would be worth making a new issue for that. I remember you posted about that on MCF and I said I would test it but I totally forgot about it. Still needs to be tested.
additional compatibility can be requested via github issues, and should have titles clearly marked as being a new feature/compatibilty request
