In HungerOverhaul for 1.6.4, I could harvest a mature crop while holding an apple without taking a bite out of that apple. In this version, I cannot. Any held item that has a right click function produces the same results, eg. try harvesting wheat while holding a TinkersConstruct rapier. I notice I'm still able to right click to interact with other blocks (vanilla chests, Tinkers tables, etc) while holding my apple so this leads me to suspect it's a bug in HungerOverhaul. Apologies if it's not and it's intended behaviour. After all, one would not harvest real wheat with an apple anyway.

That's because the method to right click to harvest has changed. It would be nice to bring that back.

Just thought I'd ask if anyone else is still getting the occasional occurrence of your held item getting used when harvesting. Most items seem definitely fixed and overall I can't complain. Just now I went to harvest some cabbage and noticed (when the cabbage went into my empty hotbar slot) that I started eating it when harvesting the next mature crop. I'm still on Forge .1219, using HO beta2. Is there something messed with my setup here? Or was something missed?

It's possible there is weird behavior while holding HarvestCraft crops, as there are a lot of hacky workarounds in the right click logic. The behavior you're describing might be caused by the workaround that allows HO to stop HarvestCraft crops from being planted directly interfering with the other workarounds for right click harvesting.

Have you been able to look at the new Harvestcraft yet? 1.7.10c ..I've got the download but so far there's a problem getting the new configs to generate and it's those I was wanting to test. From the list of features,
"- Config option: Harvest crop on right click, set growth to stage 0 - Default: True (will drop one less crop since you're auto-planting it)". Hopefully this will be dealt with when I can get the new config to generate.
