It used to work, not sure what changed.

Me and one of the users of my server have also encountered that error.
The last time our modpacks worked as expected was on the second week of December. Since nothing whatsoever on the server has changed, I can only assume that some change on the third-party libraries used by Fabric has caused this mod to stop working.
