Hello, I would like to say I don't like how health works. I started a hardcore survival with this mod and turned into a pig then back into a player and it just kept the pig's four hearts.

So, I thought maybe if you turn into an animal and take damage it takes that much damage for the player.

Example (How I would like it to work): I fell while I was a pig and lost a heart so then I turned back into a player, and then as the player, I only had 9 hearts instead of 10. and the pig had 3 hearts instead of 4 when I turned back into it as the player with 9 hearts.

I don't really know if you can do that I'm just saying that might help. please consider this suggestion or at least change how your health works when you change.

Alternatively, changing to an Identity with a different max health should set your current health to your new max health, provided that you are already at exactly full health beforehand. Otherwise, your current health does not change as your max health changes from switching to different mob Identities.

but you can work around it easily to basically get free healing

say I'm a human (max 20hp) at half health (10hp) then I turn into a bee at full health (10 hp) since now I'm at "full health" when i turn back to a human I will have full health and got 10hp of healing for free

Yeah that could be a problem.
Maybe health scales down as well. then you will not gain any healing for free.

health scaling as percentage of player-health level? so you dont have to eat tons of food to get to full health when turning from a bat to an enderman or something?
but also taking account into how many hearts of health you have out of full as well?
