I don't know if this would be possible but if a controller is detected with a mod that adds a controller maybe you should be able to navigate the GUI with a controller like the identity g u i

If you connect your Controller via Steam, you should be able to configure the keybinds in Steam.
(Worked for me in Vivecraft + Identity, though I don't recommand this combination since your EyeHigh is overriden by Vivecraft and you won't notice that much of a change ig.)
