Exit code one with no crash report [1.20.1]

Bug description
This bug only affects 1.20.1 for forge (I haven't tried for fabric), I tried with 1.19.3 and 1.18.2
The game crashes, but I got the game log, a crash log isn't generated, I don't know why
I installed Architectury dependency for every version available to 1.20.1, which didn't matter, changed the identity version to a previous one, also didn't change anything

Now what happens exactly is the game launches, and I see the forge symbol and the memory bar changing, it only lasts for 15 seconds at maximum, and then it crashes

this is the output log every time, it doesn't matter if I am using the native launcher, or using Curse Forge launcher, it is the same

Please see this bug to be fixed

Please excuse my poor language, as english isn't my first language
Thank you.

Edit 1: tried in fabric, works flawlessly
looks like it is a forge only bug

I'm experiencing the same crash issue with 1.19.2. I've attached my log for reference. Same as @Golden-Dragon161, with where it crashes though I do get a crash report created. I also tried using an older version of Identity to see if it would work but it did not.

For me, identity after 1.19.x doesn't work

I found another mod with a similar idea called Remorphed
(Needs 2 dependencies - mother mod called: woodwalkers, lib: crafted core)
It doesn't have some of identity's features (such as hostile mobs being neutral to a passive mob form player)

But it works.

for a 1.19 fix, try to update drivers (both iGPU & GPU)
I do not guarantee it will work, but you could try it

also, I have checked previous issues, one of them had done a pull request but it still hasn't been approved, I haven't tried it

I actually just found Remorphed as well, but hadn't tried it yet since my 1.21.1 modpack is touchy.

I believe I recently updated my drivers, but I can give that another shot. Thank you for the suggestion! I'll also do a test by removing all other mods and just adding Identity. It could be a conflict since I tend to use a lot of the same mods in both Minecraft versions.

I am considering staying in 1.20.1 for a while, as some mods I like haven't even been updated past 1.19.3

On a side note, do you know a mod that allows me to upgrade my gear in 1.20.1 just like
actually useful smithing table?

for AMD iGPU drivers: https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html

Sorry I just saw this today. If you're talking about just upgrading gear by from say iron to gold, I know I've seen another one but I can't remember the name. But this one is a lot of fun https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/superior-smithing-mindthemoods-modified-marvels. You can use different materials to alter the weapons and add new abilities, but not OP ones.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/weapon-leveling is a lot of fun as well. The weapons themselves gain levels and increase in damage, speed, etc.

Yo guys, have you found a fix, for the identity mod yet, trying to make it work rn, but it doesnt work at all on forge.
And I think the Mod Dev doesn't give a f*ck about it either.

It says it needs 1.17.1 Mc version, and 37 as Forge version. the architectury requirements seem to be outdated too
