Unable to repair tools in crafting grid

easyToolRepair is set to true, but I still cannot repair any tool in the crafting grid.
Tell me if you need any other information to find the problem
Something removed or changed the repair modifier. You're probably using Tinkers Modifiers. I think it has a config for that.
Try if it works if you remove all other mods besides Tcon and ITT. If it does, you'll know that it's caused by another mod (I heard erebus can cause problems, but I think they fixed it? Would still be a good starting point). Also be aware that server and client (if you're playing SMP) have to matching configs.
There's nothing I can do there, it works under normal circumstances.
It's enabled by default, isn't it? I never disabled it and also checked myself that it is enabled.
