Using TiC 1.7.1c and Iguana tweaks 2.0.6.
None of the config options pertaining to making things in the vanilla crafting grid instead of the specific TiC tables seem to work. This includes creation of tools from parts, part replacement, tool repair and using stencils to create tool parts.

1. Looks like there's a bug where you can't use sticks/bones. Only actual tool parts.
2. Tool part crafting works fine for me with that config
3. Tool repair works fine for me
4. Part replacement and adding modifiers cannot be done in the crafting grid, you need a Tool Station/Forge for that ;)
5. Tool Creation works fine for me

Stencil Reuse should have nothing to do with it. Do you get an exception/error in the log?
Also make sure the parts you're trying to craft are not restricted.

I'm having the same problem but weird thing is when i deleted my config files then it worked again. So i've wasted my sunday to isolate the problem and B:allowStencilReuse=true is the culprit. When it's true i cannot use crafting grid with ticon tools.

i don't have any errors or exceptions. It's just when i enable it no crafting table, when i disable it works normally. As for a side bug, stencil reuse doesn't work.

Okay I'll try regenerating my config and seeing if that fixes it. As for 4 - woops my bad. Thanks for the prompt responses

I found the stencil reuse does work, but only when you put an old stencil in by directly swapping it out with a blank stencil.
