This is from Closed Issue #33. But obviously, the bug is stillnt fixed, you simply changed the data file.

I don’t really get where this is coming from because this issue stems from the fact that the wave status of the data pack file was always offset by 1 due to a change by mojang. Fixing this just required those files to be fixed (which it did)

I'm getting a bit roundabout, the main issue is actually that wave8's illagers never wear armor, but I remember that not happening before.
