I'm on version 1.21.1, Fabric. I discovered this when one of two identical instances had a broken tab, even though they have the same mods. Turns out it was ImmediatelyFast updated to 1.3.6.
To summarize:
- Disabling ImmediatelyFast fixes the rendering of tab with Figura icons
- Disabling Figura also fixes the rendering of tab
- Disabling either of these two fixes the rendering of tab
- If I have ImmediatelyFast 1.3.5 and below, the tab rendering with Figura icons works correctly with all 3 mods installed
Without ImmediatelyFast:
With ImmediatelyFast:
Please add steps to get to the point where there are figura icons in the player list (Start with installing Figura, because I never used it)
These are actually the default icons that appear in the tab and chat with players in multiplayer who use the Figura models, after installing the mod

@Riflusso Can you check if the issue still occurs with this version: https://github.com/RaphiMC/ImmediatelyFast/actions/runs/13797007434

Nope. Broken too
I joined a couple of servers, but none had figura icons in the player list. Can you send a server address where I can test this?
All right. I have another explanation. You can download some model from Figura's discord #avatar-downloads channel. Then you need to install it by following this guide. (The models are located in .minecraft in the figura/avatars folder). Then you need to upload it as there. Once you do that, an icon will appear that you are using a model. The bug will appear in tab if you are using a mod
P.S.: Sorry, this mod is very hard to explain and it takes you a very long time to figure it all out the first time around
Thanks for providing steps to create a custom character, but ideally I would need more than 1 player with the figura icon in the player list to properly debug and test it.
If anyone experiencing this issue knows a server where I can test this, please share it, so I can fix the issue.
It works if one player (it can be client player) on server uses Figura model too
