is mod must better than modern "better combat by daedaelus", more players want is this for modern versions

PLEASE port it to 1.20.1, other mods are crap compared to immersive combat. better combat is boring, epic fight is too dramatic and requires to use keybinds and all that which is tedious, but there are immersive combat which is way more better, it's something balanced, i personally love it and i'd like to use it on my server instead of other mods

Unfortunately I do not think the developer would update the mod to future versions, it's a lot of work for a version that already has a number of fairly comprehensive combat mods even if subjectively inferior to this one.

I'll also add that this isn't really a bug.

I've never understood where to write such questions on github.

I can eventually port to 1.20+ if there is enough demand for it, however there are a lot of combat mods for 1.20+ already out there

youd be absolutely goated if you ported this to newer versions. it seems much better in terms of animation and presentation than better combat, which is.... kinda subpar when it comes to actual combat feel. id easily use this over other combat mods if it was available.
if you dont wanna port it, can i get permission so i can try my hand at it, and reupload for newer versions if i actually succeed? thats a big if though

i guess youre right, but it would feel a bit rude to release my own port of somebody elses mod without asking, especially when the author might start work on his own
