I've encountered a really weird bug. I am playing with Immersive engineering and Immersive petroleum.
I'm using the distillation tower to distill crude oil to gasoline and diesel, which I store in tanks. I made a diesel generator and connected via a pipe to the drain of the diesel tank. Everything worked fine.

But then I tried connecting the diesel gen to the drain of the gasoline tank just to see if gasoline worked as a fuel. Not only It didn't work, but it bugged out. The gen no longer accepts any kind of fuel and moreover it doesn't seem to be working at all. I tried rebuilding it, didn't work. I even made the same setup in my creative world and again it didnt work. Tried both inputs and played with the redstone control but with no luck.

Is this an actual problem or am I stupid and I'm doing something wrong?

Never mind, I fixed it. It was my own stupidity. Turns out the gen will not turn on unless there is a load connected to it.
