[1.14.4] Current Transformer self-obstructs wire connections - unusable

Description of the issue:

The Current Transformer upper block itself obstructs any attempted wire connections, and prints "The connection is obstructed" to player chat. Tried different wire types, horizontal and vertical distances, same issue. I did not find a workaround, the current transformer is unusable in its current state. Issue exists in survival and creative mode. Does not happen with 0.12-92.
