Maybe an issue with JEI itself instead of IE, but I noticed some weird behaviour:

When join a single player world JEI integration works fine. Also when join a server after started single player once works fine. But when freshly starting MC and directly join a server without loading into single player JEI integration fails and all that IE adds (like all multiblock structures) doesn't show up. Switching into single player and then re-join the server fixes this. Don't know if this is a sync issue caused by JEI itself so may it should reported over there, but can't figure out what's the reason as no Exceptions are thrown.
