[1.16.1] Garden Cloche Does Not Work

Description of the issue:

The garden cloche does not function. I have made sure there are appropriate items in the slots. Dirt, wheat, fertilizer. Sand, sugar cane, fertilizer. The cloche has power and water. The cloche will not turn on, register that it has fertilizer (shows Fertilizer 0), and the crops showing inside will simply not grow.

Versions & Modlist

IE Version: 0.16-109
Forge Version: 32.0.88

This has been tested in the most minimal instance possible in different worlds, both survival and creative.

Works fine on my end.

Can you provide a screenshot of your GUI, and a forced crashlog (hold F3+C for 10 seconds) please?

Mail attachments unfortunately do not work well like that.

Please collect your debug.log file from your instance's folder and upload it to https://pastebin.com or https://gist.github.com

Please upload screenshots to https://imgur.com and link them here, or alternatively drag them into the git editor to post them.

I am utterly confounded then.

Can you go into a creative world, spawn a fresh cloch, creative capacitor and set up a barrel with water and see if it works?

OH HANG ON A SECOND. I think I figured it out.

You have a pump next to the cloche, and that pump has a redstone signal on it, doesn't it? Turn that off. I bet the cloche will run then.

Hahah, on the contrary. This was one of the best reported and structured issues in a long time. Thanks for taking the time to answer all questions in detail, that made figuring it out a lot easier.

And no, I don't have a kofi or anything. If you want to do me personally a favor, donate to Black Lives Matter or Trans Lifeline. They need the money more than I do.

Have a good day, enjoy the gameplay =)

Hmm, that looks perfectly fine actually. Not quite sure why it's not working.

Could you please go to the folder of your instance, into the logs subfolder and put the entire debug.log file on gist? That could provide some insight in regards to recipes not loading.

Looks like recipes are not loading for you at all. Can you try adding JEI and seeing what recipes are available overall? It looks like a bunch of vanilla ones might be missing too.

Basically any recipes in the cloche will be missing, probably any other IE machines too. Potentially some vanilla recipes as well. The log says only 23 recipes were loaded, which is not a lot.

just to rule out any special cases, what is you system locale set to?! maybe some files can not be found due to special character sets

For future reference, 1.12 is useless for testing anything pertaining to this. Recipes and the Cloche specifically work completely different in that version. Anything related to recipes and loading them was rewritten in 1.14.

When you loaded it with JEI, did you see all the recipes? Were there recipes for the cloche?
