[1.16.5 pre.36] Items moving over a dropping conveyor with a full hopper below turns them invisible

Description of the issue:

Items that pass over a dropping conveyer which is above a hopper that is full turns the items invisible to the Client.

Tested both on Server and Singleplayer, same result on both.

Any item (that is not already in the hopper) passing over this will turn invisible but still ends up at the marked place and can be picked up as normal
