Minecraft Version

1.19.2

Immersive Engineering Version

9.2.1-164

Expected Behavior

For it too charge

Actual Behavior

It doesn't

Steps to reproduce

  1. I put the Accumulator Backpack on the Bodyarmor
  2. Built a windmill to charge the network (so the charger actually has charge)
  3. Put the Accumulator Backpack Bodyarmor combo on the charger
  4. "Waits"
  5. R-clicks it too take it out
  6. 0/100000 flux stored :(

This can't really be fixed, unfortunately. The Mekasuit has its own energy storage, and having more than one energy storage on one item is not possible without specific support. It might be an idea to forbid attaching the backpack to armor with its own energy capability altogether, what do you think @BluSunrize? It can still be used if the backpack is detached for charging, but it can also be confusing for users (as shown by this issue). Alternatively we could add a line to the tooltip in that case.

(I need more back slots)

Also I don't know what a pastebin link is or how to make it.

Urgh. Yeah, probably tooltip? Because at the end of the day, the backpack is supposed to recharge armor slots as well, so making it incompatible with armor that accepts energy feels iffy.
Should also document this in the manual.

Then USE GOOGLE. Or actually read the bloody issue template. For goodness sake. We literally can't explain it more than we already do, you're supposed to use pastebin or gist so that we don't get you massive, ugly, unspoilered crashlogs that noone can fucking read properly.

It'd be an awkward special case, but would it be possible to make IE's charger look for the backpack specially in this situation and charge both? That would somewhat solve the issue.
