Diesel Generator produces power with any liquid

Minecraft Version
1.20.1
Immersive Engineering Version
10.1.0-171
Expected Behavior
Only valid fuels should power the generator
Actual Behavior
Any liquid, including something vanilla like water, that is piped into the diesel generator causes it to generate power. No animation, sound, or particle effects play and no liquid is consumed in this case, but accumulators connected to the machine will receive around 4000/t of power.
Steps to reproduce
- Build a diesel generator
- Place metal barrels connected to the fluid input
- Place an HV accumulator on top of the power output blocks, set the bottom side of the accumulator to power input
- Insert water into the barrels
- Observe as energy increases in the accumulator
