Railgun-wielding pillagers crash server

How did it happen?
Minecraft 1.20.4
FTB Neotech (1.10.2)
Running a dedicated server. It will start and not crash.
It does crash as soon as a player logs in with the current world. There is a pillager raid going on. Presumably one of them has the railgun, none of us have it.
