Upgrading buzzsaw with advanced lubricant system crashed the game

Minecraft Version

1.21.1

Immersive Engineering Version

12.4.2-194

How did it happen?

I put the buzzsaw into the engineer's workbench to upgrade it. putting in a larger tank first went fine, putting in the advanced lubricant system immediately caused the crash the moment I clicked it in. I had 1 inventory slot left open and the buzzsaw had no bio-diesel nor sawblade in it and no shader applied. I didn't have the "Rip and tear!" advancement yet. Loading the world again the buzzsaw was ejected out of the workbench as an item on the ground with the lubricant applied. After the initial crash I could take out and reapply the lubricant without issue.

I gave the below crash report to the all the mods team first, they said to post it here instead. The crash log field has the same link as crash-2025-10-18_02.23.07-client.txt.

All the Mods 10 - 4.12 crashed. The logs have been uploaded to gnomebot.dev:

latest.log | debug.log head / tail (~41MB & ~204k lines) | crash-2025-10-18_02.23.07-client.txt | PrismLauncher-0.log | KubeJS: client.log / server.log / startup.log | crash_assistant_app.log | modlist.txt

As an update, the same issue happened when applying shaders to the mining drill and shift clicking it out.
