Internal Exception: io.netty/handler.codec.encoderexception on Client when conencting to Server

Sorry, not the most helpful exception. Debug and logs show nothing of interest. This happens when connecting to a dedicated server with Immersive Geology. Removing the mod from the server and client, everything connects as normal.

Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index 1, Size: 1

Hmm, I've seen this before in testing, I'd thought I'd fixed it.
