Description

Similar to command equipment described in #11, I was hoping to see a standalone radio backpack and walkie-talkie added.

SCR-536-type walkie-talkie. Would have its own small power bank and would be shown in-hand when the user has it selected. Basic radio tuning only and would be 25% range of radio tower. Will receive data packets and display output in chat when on hotbar. Features limited variables (a-f only, for example) for sending. When in hand, right clicking would send variables, sneak-right click would allow variable programming. Inventory item only.

SCR-300-type backpack: Would have its own medium power bank (capacitor backpack would be a core ingredient in the crafting) and it would have a range 50% that of the radio tower (configurable). Worn by the player like a capacitor backpack, but provides no armor. It can be placed in-world as a single block where one Data and one LV wire could be connected directly to it to act as a mini-radio tower. This item would be used in conjunction with the SCR-536. It would allow for full variable programming and extended range, and allow for advanced radio tuning. Additionally, if a another player with a handheld is within range (3-5 blocks) of a player wearing the backpack, their SCR-536 would be boosted as well.
