I've noticed certain instruments would play different notes on certain midi's. I'd really like to compose something that uses this to its advantage but I don't know how. If it's not too much trouble, would you mind explaining it to me?

That's actually not implemented, all instruments should play the same, but what you can do is select the midi track played back.

Sorry I don't understand. Do you mean select that song playing? Some of the songs I imported would make the flute play a certain note while other instruments joined in, played other notes apart of the track.

The tracklist here can toggle midi tracks.
