A friend is participating in our mod pack and she actually would rather not be able to see these paintings, across the board. This because most people in the server use them as ways to display their own art at full resolution, oftentimes clashing with the rest of the environment. Either that or she's simply not comfortable with them.

Of course, she cannot outright remove the mod, as that would make her unable to play.

What I'm suggesting is an option in the config to disable the display and downloading of paintings outright, for this specific circumstance. If not that, an option for paintings to always display at 8x8 or 16x16 resolution, to the point where they are intelligible.
