According to your testing, does the issue occur with ONLY Immersive Portals mod installed?
Yes
Forge Version
47.3.0
ImmersivePortals Version
3.0.0
Latest Log
Crash Report (if applicable)
No response
Steps to Reproduce
- Install the mod for 1.20.1 with at least one mod that adds a new dimension
- Enable dimension stack for a new world
- Try to add that dimension to the dimension stack (nothing is there)
- Create that new world
- Fall bellow y=-60 (I just
/tp ~ -50 ~and dig down) - Fall out of world because the mod doesn't seem to teleport the user to the correct location in the nether
What You Expected
- Dimension stacking to teleport me to near the top of the world in the nether instead of keep my y axis value
- Dimension stack list to detect modded dimensions
What Happened Instead
- Dimension stacking list doesn't show modded dimensions
- "Finish" button doesn't seem to work??
- Falling through the void when going bellow the overworld
Additional Details
Please Read and Confirm The Following
- I have confirmed this bug can be replicated without the use of Optifine.
- I have confirmed the details provided in this report are concise as possible and does not contained vague information (ie. Versions are properly recorded, answers to questions are clear).
- I have confirmed this does not happen on the fabric version (If it does please report to here instead).
- I have confirmed I'm not using a hybrid server (Magma, Cauldron) or a different (non official) Forge Server release.
- I have confirmed this issue is unique and has not been reported already.
This issue persists in version: 3.0.4
I ensured the mod was running on its own with only Cloth Config API installed otherwise, and used the default dimension stack parameters set when hitting enable.
You can dig into the nether and teleport into it, the moment a block is broken in that dimension you are teleported to the bottom and fall out of the void promptly. Here are the logs generated when this block break happens if it helps: https://pastebin.com/Q1dF2i0h
It appears dimensions stacked above, such as sky islands, don't have this issue. It primarily happens to dimensions stacked below. I think you can get high enough into the sky dimensions without having to break a block so the issue does not occur.
